About the piece: I have been inspired by the idea of opposites these past few months. The interesting thing about colors, textures, and frames you might not naturally think to put together, is that sometimes things that seem like they wouldn’t match, often work even better than ones that do. It makes the piece more interesting. It’s all about the underlying hue, or small thematic threads that bind the elements together. And then, enough space where they aren’t working against one another by accidentally competing for the eye’s attention. There’s magic in the Contrast.
